The story behind Vigil
Vigil came about after decades of experience and observation about the practices in WordPress ecosystem. Ease of plugin and theme availability and lack of monitoring and updates lowers the security of large number of installations causing WordPress sites to be often targets hacks and attacks.
We decided to change this. Thus, Vigil came to be
The purpose of Vigil
Vigil aims to monitor and keep abreast of security updates, incompatibilities and vulnerabilities of WordPress components on websites and keep all stakeholders up to date with deeply insightful reports by giving them complete control over how and when to notify them of issues.
We do all of this while using near 0 resources from the website, so your users do not have any downtime.
